Our first consortium in Sweden. We had a formal kick-off on the LaserBATMAN project. The Swedish and the Danish project partners met at ASSAR Industrial Innovation Arena and the University of Skövde to discuss the project ambitions, progress, and next steps. We look forward to engaging in the project and collaborating with the consortium consisting of DTU Construct, the University of Skövde, Volvo Group Trucks Operations, and Aurobay (Powertrain Engineering Sweden AB)

We did a series of laser welding experiments to have insight into the morphology of the molten pool. We did this experiment at ASSAR- Innovation area. We started in the morning at 08:00 and finished around 17:00 or 18:00. It was indeed a hectic day, but it was worth it as the results were promising.
This is during my external research stay at the University of Skovde, Sweden. I have to spend 5 months in total to verify my simulation results for the experimental work.
